One of the most impressive comebacks in Ithaca High boys lacrosse history fell a goal short Wednesday at Corning Memorial Stadium.
After facing a 9-0 halftime deficit in its Class A state quarterfinal against Baldwinsville, the Little Red scrapped back to get within one goal with 1 minute, 48 seconds remaining. Baldwinsville stepped up on the defensive end thereafter to preserve a 10-9 victory.
