Seneca Falls is going to get musical this summer.
Thursday’s are going to be a little more exciting as People’s Park plays host to Music in the Park. It’ll be a summer music series beginning on June 1st — running throughout the summer until August 31st.
Organizers say to bring lawn chairs and blankets, depending on the weather — as bands like Glacial Erotics, the Ende Brothers, Whiskey Sunday and Little Joe & the Big Shots — play for those in attendance.
Organizers say the all-local musicians and artists are scheduled to invade People’s Park to bring an experience that isn’t often found in a small community like this one.
Other performers scheduled for the summer include Diana Jacobs Band, Jessica Novak Band, The Sweats, and the Cool Club Quartet and the Lipker Sisters.
Every other Thursday there will be a featured winery offering tastings along with local vendors and organizations providing a variety of food for purchase.
This series is a free series from the Seneca Museum and further details will be available on their website at www.senecamuseum.com.
The first night on June 1st will feature El Bajio as the food vendor and Villa Bellangelo as the winery on-site.
The event will run from 6 pm until 8:30 pm.
