A Jefferson County man has pleaded guilty to taking a Wayne County girl from her home, transporting her across state lines and engaging in sexual activity with her.
Carl Burdick of Henderson, New York pleaded guilty to transporting a minor across state lines for the purpose of engaging in sexual contact.
Burdick used social media and texting to create a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old, soliciting nude photographs from her. In summer 2015, he took her from her Wayne County home to Montana, during which he engaged in sexual activity with her.
