A Waterloo man was charged Tuesday for allegedly violating a stay-away order of protection on a woman in Auburn, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Joseph T. Wendt, 38, 1135 Hecker Road, Waterloo, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony.
Police said Wendt was with the woman, who has the order against him, at McDonald’s, 198 Grant Ave., Auburn, on April 3. The woman made a complaint against him that same day.
