The Village Board will conduct a public hearing Monday on the proposed 2017-18 village budget.
After the hearing, the board will consider adopting the spending plan either intact or amended as a result of the hearing or other factors.
The budget is up 2.9 percent over the current budget, while the tax levy is up less than half a percent.
The tax rate per $1,000 of assessed value would remain at $18.92.
No village services will be added and none will be eliminated or reduced in the budget. The village is negotiating new contracts with labor unions representing the public works and police departments.
