A 23-year-old Newfield man is facing numerous traffic and drug charges after he caused an accident in Ithaca while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Police say Dylan T. Vincent, 23, of Newfield crashed his vehicle around 4:30 pm on March 4th near the 400 block of Bostwick Rd. and during the subsequent investigation — was found to be driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was also found to be driving with a suspended license, according to police.
Vincent was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a control substance. He was also charged with failure to use designated lane, speed not reasonable, no seat belt, and unsafe tires.
The charges will be answered in Ithaca Town Court on March 22nd.
