Reed will meet with local constituents this weekend (dates & locations)

Rep. Tom Reed (R-23)

Republican Rep. Tom Reed will sit down with constituents this weekend to address the wealth of concerns many have with the state of politics in the region.

After several requests from those constituents — Reed scheduled a series of Town Hall meetings, which would all take place on Saturday.

Starting at 8 am — Rep. Reed will begin his day in Ithaca holding his first Town Hall meeting of the day at the Southside Community Center in Ithaca.

He will make his way north — stopping at the Ovid Fire Hall at 10:30 am. The Ovid Fire Hall is located at 2136 Brown Street.

His third stop will be at the Manchester Town Hall, located at 1272 County Rd. 7 in Clifton Springs. This meeting will begin at 12:30 pm.

Reed will wrap up his day stopping at the Pulteney Fire Company at 3 pm. Located at 8891 Brown Rd., constituents will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the representative elected to serving New York’s 23rd District.

Republican representatives have come under fire over the last several weeks, as political divisiveness has dominated coverage.

Specifically, Reed has been asked to weigh in on the variety of issues taken on by Republican President Donald Trump, like the controversial ban on immigration, as well as the prospect of rolling back Obamacare and defunding Planned Parenthood.
