A Genoa man is facing multiple felony charges after he was found driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content three times the legal limit, according to State Police.
On Saturday, 48-year-old Shawn M. Case was on West Cayuga St. in Locke when he struck another vehicle. Police were called to the scene of the two car crash, after Case struck a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road.
Case has a history of driving while intoxicated, according to police. They say he has a previous conviction, which was finalized in August of last year.
His blood-alcohol content was noted at .21 percent, which is nearly three times the legal limit.
He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicate, and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.
He was charged with using a vehicle without an ignition interlock device as well, which is a misdemeanor.
Case was arraigned and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.
