February wasn’t too bad. It was more of the same: cold and snow, then warm and rain. Actually, there was some record warmth for Presidents’ Day week! This cycle certainly helps raise our water table, which was badly depleted last summer. And the lack of subzero temperatures is a great thing. As long as we get some more typical colder weather, the grape vines should still think it is winter and gradually de-acclimate to the cold on a normal schedule.
