Seneca Falls woman faces felony welfare fraud charges

On February 16th at about 2:30 pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Jacqueline M. Pethybridge, 47, of Seneca Falls on charges related to a welfare fraud investigation.

Pethybridge was charged with two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing — both Class E felonies, and two counts of fifth-degree welfare fraud.

It is alleged that Pethybridge received financial assistance from Seneca County, but failed to completely report her household income. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Waterloo Village Court on March 15th, 2017 at 5 pm.
