The first series of earnings have been released by del Lago Resort & Casino for their initial week of operation.

A total of $32,921,546 was spent at the slot machines at del Lago. Another $3,736,444 was spent at the venue’s table games.

Altogether, the casino saw a gross gaming revenue figure that leveled at $3,317,758 for the first week of operation, which ended on February 6th.

The casino features 2,001 slot machines and 77 table games. The State Gaming Commission report noted that poker revenues were not included.

The $440 million resort and casino held a series of soft openings before the grand opening. One of the benefits for local municipalities will be the 37 percent tax rate on all slot machine revenues.

Meanwhile, a 10 percent tax rate will be applied to table games.

del Lago reported that slot machines, which saw the largest amount of action — averaged a $252 payout per day.

Over the weekend, The Vine hosted a pair of concerts, as Bad Company and Flo Rida came to Tyre. Two restaurants inside the venue have yet to open, which will likely create a secondary boom seen later this month when they open.

The Farmer’s Market Buffet served over 2,100 people on it’s first Saturday in operation, and has received plenty of positive remarks from patrons.
