On Saturday at 2:07 am the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Calib B. Burroughs, 23, of Romulus following a traffic stop on River Road.
Burroughs was stopped by police after the vehicle he was operating was observed by police traveling above the posted speed limit. Following the stop it was discovered that Burroughs was intoxicated and operating without a license and was subsequently arrested.
Burroughs was processed and released with the following charges: Unlicensed operator, a violation; Speed in Zone, a violation; Driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more, a misdemeanor.
He is due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on February 23rd, 2017 at 10:00 am to answer the charges.
