Members of the Seneca Falls Police Department report the arrest of a Phelps man after a traffic stop on State Route 414 early Sunday morning.
Police say the stop happened around 12:39 am when police observed a vehicle being operated by Nathaniel D. Pierce, 25, of Phelps fail to signal while making a turn. Upon investigation, police say Pierce showed signs of intoxication. He was subsequently arrested after the investigation confirmed he was driving under the influence.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a .08 blood-alcohol content – both misdemeanors, plus improper signal – a violation.
Pierce is scheduled to answer the charges in Seneca Falls Town Court.
