A Sodus man was charged Wayne County sheriff’s deputies following a complaint at a relative’s house.
Austin Hogan, 22, was arrested following a complaint on Bay Street in Sodus where it was reported that he had stolen property, deputies said. While investigating the incident, deputies said, Hogan was allegedly found to be in possession of the stolen property.
Deputies also located a small quantity of heroin in Hogan’s belongings.
He was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was issued appearance tickets for Sodus Town Court and released.
