The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that two people were sent to the hospital after an accident on State Route 96 in Manchester.
Deputies say Alana Shaw, 27, of Phelps and Floyd Mason, 61, of Minoa were both traveling east on Route 96 when the vehicle operated by Mason was rear-ended while waiting to make a left-turn onto Spring Run.
Shaw was issued a citation for following too closely and both were transported to Clifton Springs Hospital for a checkover.
