Cornell design students consider Sterling Nature Center building for project

Design students at Cornell University could help Sterling Nature Center with ideas for a new building.

Gary Duckett, superintendent of Parks and Trails and Buildings and Grounds, said Cayuga County applied to Design Connect, an organization at Cornell that provides students with practical experience, working with nonprofits and local municipalities each semester on a specific project. Through its 10-year master plan, Sterling Nature Center is hoping to construct a new building to replace the deteriorating Jensvold House.
