Gould says that an investigation into the theft of construction tools, a generator, and equipment from a job trailer located in Port Byron took place between Friday at 4 pm and Monday at 12 pm.
The theft was discovered at noon, and investigators say that entry was forced into the trailer. It was locked at the time, and located at 78 Utica Street. The location is where a new Dollar General is being built.
Investigators say that many of the tools are primarily used for concrete construction.
