Bill and Susan Lesser always admired the architecture of the 1840s-era Greek Revival-style house at 341 Coddington Road while driving by it on the way to and from their own similar home about 200 yards down the road.
The Lessers and other neighbors have watched the vacant historic house in the town of Ithaca deteriorate over the past 20 years and they likely would have watched it be destroyed if not for a little bit of luck.
