A controversial deal to sell seven acres of land adjacent to Seneca Lake State Park in Waterloo will go back before City Council. Wording in the resolution passed at Council’s Nov. 2 meeting needs refining, City Manager Matt Horn said Wednesday.
“The City of Geneva has determined that the proposed sale of a city-owned parcel at the entrance to Seneca Lake State Park in the town of Waterloo will require additional public consideration before any action is taken,” Horn said in a press release issued Wednesday morning. Horn explained later yesterday the city Attorney’s Office reviewed the documentation and determined it should be modified to reflect the actual sale terms.
