Town officials budgeted $175,000 to complete the Cayuga-Seneca Canal Trail from Route 96A into Seneca Lake State Park. But when bids were opened Oct. 18, the three bids received were $260,000, $397,000 and $399,000. Monday, the Town Board voted to re-bid the project after making some adjustments to the specifications to hopefully result in lower bids.
