Sean Lattimore, owner of Springside Inn in Fleming, has been trying to build a larger hotel near Owasco Lake. It may become a reality after the Central New York Regional Economic Development Council designated the $8.7 million hotel one of its 2016 priority projects.
According to a description provided in the regional council's 2016 progress report, the "upscale, mid-range boutique lake-view hotel" will have 55 rooms within three separate buildings. A bar and event facilities will be located on the grounds.
