An Elmira woman was arrested in Schuyler County after allegedly stealing welfare benefits.
Melissa Pierce, 24, of Elmira was arrested on October 13th and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor after allegedly stealing money in the form of a public welfare benefit.
Pierce was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Montour Falls Court.
