The Cayuga County Health Department on Saturday said that the most recent tests of treated drinking water from the city of Auburn and Town of Owasco show no detectable toxins.
The test results received Saturday were from samples collected Friday.
The town of Owasco’s treated drinking water had recently tested positive for low but detectable levels of toxins from blue-green algae blooms. The city of Auburn’s treated drinking water had also tested positive for low levels of toxins, but has since tested negative for several days in a row.
