Here’s the challenge: while wineries seem to be everywhere in the Finger Lakes, there are long stretches where there just isn’t a place to eat. As luck would have it, we were a short drive from the FLX Wienery, on the west side of Seneca Lake.
The elevated hot dog stand is the creation of Christopher Bates, together with his wife Isabel Bogadtke. The pair clearly thinks outside the box; their new Geneva restaurant, FLX Table, consists of a single communal table for 12.
