Scott Green used to walk with his son, Kristopher, around Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. They'd hunt and fish there, go on hikes, and the last time, right before Kristopher died in a car accident, they hiked to a spot where two deer peeked at them through the bramble across the Seneca Canal.
