During the early-morning hours of Monday, a Gorham man was arrested after an incident where he allegedly struck multiple individuals — including a woman and two children.
Deputies say Christopher A. Schoepfel, 33, of Gorham was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment in the second degree. Schoepfel allegedly got into an argument with a female while which in the process struck several people — two of which were children.
A stay away order of protection was issued against Schoepfel and he was transported to the Ontario County Jail. He will answer the charges at a later date.
