Sodus man arrested after stabbing housemate in the face

A Sodus man was arrested and charged during the early-morning hours of Sunday. Deputies in Wayne County say that Jeronimo Hernandez-Aguas, 25, had allegedly stabbed his housemate in the face during an incident on State Route 14.

Deputies say that the victim, who was 23-years-old, was taken to the hospital Sunday morning and was in stable condition as of Sunday evening. Further details of the victim’s condition, including their identity were not released.

Hernandez-Aguas was charged with assault in the second degree, as well as criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. He is currently in custody of the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, or $50,000 secured bond.
