On Tuesday at approximately 1:36 pm, the Town of Seneca Police Department arrested Gregory M. Stivers,age 26 of Newark, for criminal contempt in the 2nd, a misdemeanor. Stivers is accused of calling and sending text messages to a former girlfriend while a stay away order of protection was in effect. He was arraigned before the Town of Fayette Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 bail/$10,000 bond. Stivers is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court on July 6th at 9 am.
