Geneva man charged after violating order of protection

On Tuesday at approximately 8:40 am the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nathaniel Alan Mcleod, age 25 of 473 Hamilton Street in Geneva, for criminal contempt in the 2nd.It is alleged that Mcleod violated an order of protection by sending threatening text messages to his ex girlfriend Danielle Bourne. Mcleod and Bourne got into a verbal argument that escalated to the point where Mcleod chased Bourne around a parking lot yelling at her. Mcleod punched a speed limit sign and was taken to Geneva General Hospital for treatment. He was then transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention.Mcleod will appear before the Geneva Town Court at a later date to answer for the charge.
