A 40-year-old Dundee man was arrested over the weekend on DWI charges following a traffic stop in Watkins Glen. Police say Robert L. Getman, of Dundee was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher and unlawful possession of marijuana after the stop. The Watkins Glen Police Department reports the arrest of a 44-year-old resident following a trespassing incident. Richard J. Hagenow, of Watkins Glen was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and committed to the Schuyler County Jail. He was arraigned in Watkins Glen Village Court. According to reports, a pedestrian was struck near the Yates and Schuyler county line. The entire incident unfolded on State Route 14A in Rock Stream around 3 pm. Scanner traffic indicated that the individual was unconscious and unresponsive at the scene, but additional details were not available.
