The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on August 21st at approximately 4:30 pm a Farmington woman was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated after they received a complaint that an intoxicated person had just left a local business.
Karen P. Towne, 57, of Farmington was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Deputies say they received a complaint that an intoxicated woman left a business and was attempting to leave in a vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle, and subsequently arrested Towne.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. She had a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent or more, according to deputies.
The charges will be answered in Tyre Town Court.
