On Thursday at approximately 3:45 pm investigators arrested Berain L. Winfield, 34, formerly of Syracuse on a charge of promoting prison contraband.
Winfield was charged after an incident on Wednesday where he allegedly possessed matches while confined as an inmate at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Romulus Town Court on September 8th at 10 am.
