Seneca County Habitat for Humanity calls for volunteers

On Saturday June 4th more than twenty five volunteers joined together to kick off the building of a new home at 36 Haigh Street in Seneca Falls and they have been building ever since. From now until the fall, many volunteers are needed to help build the current projects the organization has underway.Volunteers are always welcome during the regular build hours:Every Tuesday and Thursday – from 4 pm to 7 pm and Every Saturday from 8 am to 3 pmNote: no building occurs on holiday weekends (Independence Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day). The volunteers work along side the family that will be living in the home upon its completion. Volunteers should wear long pants and close-toe shoes or boots.
