An Auburn man will spend the next 15 years in prison for promoting child pornography. In May 2014, Michael Mahannah, of 167 State St., was arrested in Cayuga County after messaging who he thought was a 12-year-old boy for sex. However, according to Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelmann, that person was really an undercover state trooper.
