It was a stormy weekend across the Finger Lakes. Thankfully for those with outdoor plans, the majority of this rain fell late in the day or during the overnight hours.
For a region that continues to be parched by drought, this soaking rain was a welcome relief. Many areas saw over an inch on Saturday night alone, with some additional downpours adding to the weekend totals Sunday evening. 48-Hour totals of 2 to 3 inches were no too uncommon, especially in some of the worst drought areas.
