On September 9th a Honeoye man was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree following an investigation into a suspicious condition that had occurred in the Hamlet of Honeoye.
The subsequent search warrant, which was issued after the August 25th incident, revealed a switchblade knife. The charge was elevated to a felony due to Brandon L. Jewell, 40, of Honeoye having been previously convicted of a crime.
He was arraigned in Canadice Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail. He will answer the charges at a later date.
