A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the following counties in the eastern Finger Lakes: Cayuga, Wayne, and Onondaga. The National Weather Service says that conditions are ripe in the watched area for thunderstorms that could really pack a punch this afternoon and evening. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1:00 am.
