Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts reports that a Lyons man was arrested Friday night for driving while intoxicated. Deputies observed a man, later identified as Brenton J. Davis, 28, of Lyons crossing the center line several times while traveling eastbound on Main Street in the Village of Palmyra.Davis then failed multiple field sobriety tests. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .08 or greater and several other vehicle and traffic violations. His BAC was reported to be .14 at the time of the traffic stop.Davis was released and is schedule to appear in Palmyra Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.
