Fall dried flower workshop in Yates County

The Master Gardeners of Yates County are hosting a fall dried flower arrangement workshop facilitated by Nellie Gardner, horticulturist and owner of Flower Fields in Spencerport, NY. Nellie will bring a variety of cut flowers and herbs that can be dried and demonstrate how to make a swag or basket arrangement. If you wish to make a basket arrangement, please bring your own basket. A good basket dimension is 6” x 4” width x 4.5 tall.The workshop is open to the public and is to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Yates County Auditorium, 417 Liberty Street, Penn Yan. The fee is $22 per person, which includes drying cut flowers and refreshments. Pre-registration is required.
