On Friday March 20 at 7:30 pm Penn Yan Police arrested 27 year old Timothy Kerrick of Penn Yan and 39 year old Gregory Brazie of Kanona following a traffic stop on Elm Street in the Village of Penn Yan.During the stop officers located 4 grams of crack cocaine under the driver seat of the vehicle. At the conclusion of the investigation it was found that the crack cocaine was purchased in Rochester and was intended for sale in Penn Yan. Kerrick was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree,a class B Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd Degree, a class A Misdemeanor, and several additional vehicle equipment violations.Brazie was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree.Both were arraigned and remanded in jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
