Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that early this morning at 12:00 am Deputies arrested Brian E Swinehart, age 35 of 100 West Street in Geneva, on State Route 5&20 in the Town of Waterloo for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. It is alleged that Swinehart was in possession of marijuana following a routine traffic stop for speeding. The operator of the vehicle Amber M Maddox, age 20 also of 100 West Street in Geneva, was arrested for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree. It is alleged Maddox was found to be driving on a suspended license. Swinehart and Maddox were released on appearance tickets and are to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court on April 22 to answer the charges.
