Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies report that on Sunday Laureen M. Banigni-Bushman, age 60 of 25 Perry Street in Auburn, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. The Arrest stems from a traffic stop that occurred on the 8th of November 2015 around 1:43 am on State Route 96A in the Town of Covert. Deputies had observed the vehicle that Banigni-Bushman was operating swerving in between traffic lanes. While conducting an investigation, Sheriffs Deputies learned that Banigni-Bushman was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Banigni-Bushman has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with .08% BAC or greater and Failure to Keep Right. Banigni-Bushman is to appear in the Covert Town Court on the 7th of December at 10:00 am.
