Watkins Glen teacher wins $2,500 grant, finishes second on Jeopardy!

Rachel Niegelberg, a Watkins Glen Elementary School teacher walked off the set of Jeopardy! with a $2,500 educational grant to help fund some projects in the district she teaches on Tuesday.

She finished second on Tuesday’s semi-final round game of the gameshow, which featured educators from around the U.S.



The Trumansburg resident was a winner in last week’s quarterfinal game.

There were 15 teachers from around the U.S. participating in the contest to help spotlight teacher’s efforts.
