Class C state title within reach of Lansing boys

When the high school soccer season started a little more than two months ago, the Lansing High School boys team was still reeling from the sudden death of their coach, Adam Heck, in late August.

Lansing faces World of Inquiry from Rochester in a Class C semifinal at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Twin Towers Middle School in Middletown. The winner moves on to Sunday’s final against either Potsdam or North Salem at 12:30 p.m. at Faller Stadium in Middletown.
