Tibetan Lama Presentation on Birds, Nature, and Art

Speaker: Tashi Sangpo, Tibetan Buddhist monk, self-taught conservation biologist, artist, educator, and filmmaker.
Description: Tashi Sangpo has crisscrossed the Tibetan plateau, documenting the life history of birds and creating more than 400 unique illustrations of birds and plants. Known to his community as the “The Bird Lama,” Tashi Sangpo founded the Nyanpo Yurtse Environment Protection Association, a group dedicated to conservation and public education. He is passionate about helping the next generation understand and care for the environment.
