Self Defense for Women on #WindDownWednesday

Our #WindDownWednesday series continues!
Heidi Lyndaker is the founder and owner of Synergy Health &
Wellness, she’s a certified personal trainer, registered yoga teacher, and black belt martial artist. Heidi leads this self defense workshop to inspire women, and provide realistic skills in a positive, safe, and lively atmosphere.
Heidi will teach you how to:
•thwart potential attacks by making yourself a “hard target”
•break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
•avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.
•escape from underneath an attacker pinning you to the ground.
•strike an attacker and be effective.
Tickets are $16 which includes class and a pint of Fleur De Lis Brew Works beer or local wine.
•No Experience Necessary –designed for first-time students of self defense.
•Anyone Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
•Learn these techniques in a safe atmosphere.
•Wear comfortable clothing.

In addition to her black belt in Hattatsu Ryu karate, Heidi has trained in Ryu Te Kempo, and is currently a student of both Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Goju Ryu. Heidi is passionate about helping others redefine their future by sharing her knowledge and unlocking the inner warrior in each of us.
Synergy Health & Wellness is an integrative health practice where she focuses on empowering individuals both physically and emotionally. Heidi not only works with clients to support the body’s ability to heal through nutrition, herbal medicine, and stress-management, she’s also has over 10 years of martial arts experience including teaching youth and adult karate classes and managing a dojo.
