Job Corps Orientation for 16-24 Year Olds

Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, is a free career technical training program for 16 – 24 year olds. Students can train for careers in automotive, construction, health occupations, culinary, construction and more. The program includes up to two years education and training, campus housing, meals and many other services. There is no cost to eligible students. Both high school graduates and non-graduates are invited to apply. If needed, a student can also get a NY State High School Equivalency (TASC) or high school diploma – at the same time they train for a career at Job Corps. Orientation and Application Interviews will be held on Friday, August 25th at 11:30am at Finger Lakes Works Career Center, Health Services Building, 1519 Nye Rd., Suite 600, Lyons, NY.
