Job Corps Orientation for 16-24 year olds in Geneva – Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, offers free career training for 16 – 24 year olds. The program includes up to two years education and training, campus housing, meals and many other services. There is no cost to eligible students. Both high school graduates and non-graduates are encouraged to apply. If needed, a student can also get a NY State High School Equivalency (TASC) or high school diploma at the same time they train for a career at Job Corps. Training is offered in automotive, medical & business office, construction trades, C.N.A, L.P.N., culinary arts, security guard and more. Orientation and Application Interviews will be held on Tuesday, June 6th at 11:30am at Finger Lakes Works, 70 Elizabeth Blackwell St., Geneva, NY. Interested students must call Admissions Counselor Reginald Walton (585) 454-5130 to reserve their seat and to find out what documents to bring.
