Catholic Charities Hosts Open House at New Schuyler Office Location

WATKINS GLEN, NY – You are cordially invited to an Open House at the new location for the Schuyler County Office of Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler. The Open House will be held Friday, March 16 from 2 pm – 4 pm at the new location, 105 9th St, Unit 20 (in the basement of the Schuyler County Office Building). Agency Director, Deb MacDonald, and her Staff invite the community to drop by the new office space to learn more about Catholic Charities, volunteer opportunities and the services offered through the Schuyler County Office. WHAT: Schuyler Office Open House WHEN: Friday, March 16, 2 pm – 4 pm WHERE: 105 9th St, Unit 20, Watkins Glen On January 8, 2018, the Schuyler Office of Catholic Charities of Chemung/Schuyler relocated to the Schuyler County Office Building. Being located in the same building as other service providers has allowed those seeking services to access multiple services in one trip. The added security has been a welcome addition for Staff and clients along with ample parking. In addition, the anonymity for those coming to the office is greatly appreciated. Regular office hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. They are closed for lunch from noon – 1 pm. Please call 535-2050 to make an appointment with one of the Staff. Catholic Charities provide emergency services for those in domestic violence situations, runaway youth or individuals who are homeless. They also provide a food pantry, advocacy for SNAP benefits, assistance in connecting seniors to volunteer opportunities and help with housing for those who qualify for the programs.
