Black History Month Program at Historic Palmyra

FreeOn February 20th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Historic Palmyra will be hosting its Black History Month Program at the Alling Coverlet Museum at 122 William St., Palmyra. This program will address Palmyra and the Abolitionist Movement, the Civil Rights Movement, historical African American members of the community, and more. This program will include a talk as well as a walk around the Village, if weather permits, to discuss the Underground Railroad in Palmyra. Please dress for the weather. This event is no charge and part of Historic Palmyra’s monthly 3rd Thursday community participation programming. All are welcome! Look forward to a Women’s History Month Program on March 19th.
